Stories have been told in every culture across the world from the earliest times.
It is a great way of sharing experiences and values with others in your family and the community. All of us are naturally storytellers. We tell each other stories all the time. But storytelling is also an art that can be learnt.

January 10th
Tall stories
Come and tell us the most absurd, farfetched and ridiculous story you’ve heard. There will be a prize for the most unbelievable story. The first half will be open floor, followed by stories from two or three of the GuestHouse Storytellers after the break.

Promises, Promises
Promises kept and broken are a major theme in fairytales, and what better day than Valentine’s Day to explore the wisdom in tales of promises kept against all odds, and what happens when we fail to keep our word.

Inside each of us and our world the wild lives on, rarely acknowledged, but always there in the shadows waiting to break out. An evening of stories about the wild – in animals, nature and in humans.
