The season of 2009—2009 saw continued success for Hillcrest Amateur Boxing Club which can now boast two National Finalists in Connor Sandalls and Daniel Yeoell. Membership increased to around 70 as the sport of boxing grew in popularity helped by UK success in the Olympics.

In an attempt to reach out to the community the club now hosts Peacehaven Community School in weekly training sessions.

Improvements have been made to facilities within the club with the help of Grassroots funding.

Senior nights are Monday and Thursday starting at 7.00pm, Juniors (10—16 years) every Wednesday starting at 6.00pm
